No Cell Phones!!!!

Just FYI----I cancelled our T-Mobile account because we don't get very good reception in our house and neighborhood. By the way...I got out of our "early termination" for free. It just takes a little persuasion. :) We switched to Verizon. So, those of you that have Verizon...we can talk whenever and however long! Woo-hoo! So, with that in mind, our phones have been turned off since Saturday. So, if you've tried to contact us that way, we didn't get the message. Our new phones will arrive hopefully tomorrow(Feb.24). Our cell phone numbers will be the same. If you need to call us, we still have our house line.

California....here we come!!!

So, we went away to California for what was suppose to be 10 days to 2 weeks. But why the heck not? It's not like we have a job or something! haha. Justin's parents invited us to come visit since Justin starts the fire academy March 23rd and won't have much free time for the next year. I don't know what we were thinking to drive all 17+ hours in one day, but we did! If you know me, I am NOT a good car rider. Teigen showed me up and hardly made a peep. Is he really my kid? lol. Needless to say, we drove it back home in 2 days. MUCH better! We had a great time. It really made me miss California. (Sorry there are a lot of pics from our vacation, but the pictures say it all) While we were there, we................................................

Christmas 2008---yeah I know it's february.

So, my friend Kristin reminded me today that I better update my blog. So I changed the Christmas background, got rid of the pic of Teigen with the Santa hat......but am posting about Christmas. So take it or leave it. I could do better at this bloging business...so I'll be better this year. Deal?

Christmas Eve was spent with our good friends, Landon, Kristin and their 4 kids at their house. We enjoyed Prime Rib, Au Gratin Potatoes, Rolls and such. Then we cramed in the car and went looking at lights. When we got back, we watched an old classic, "Christmas Vacation"- it was a great night.

Christmas was a lot more fun with Teigen. He lit up the morning with his excitement for all his new toys! We did have to wake him up though. (Not a typical kid on Christmas morning). Notice his frown in the pic when we woke him? Classic. I love it. Don't worry, we didn't forget about our dogs. I bought them each a new chew toy, but apparently wanted to share instead. We had Christmas breakfast at Scott and Michelle's. It was very yummy. Teigen enjoyed Scott's drums-there might be a future in that. Then we spent the rest of the day in our pajamas kickin back and watchin movies, our tradition that is bound to stay. And for Christmas dinner, we had steak.
