Aaron came to visit...

We had a great time with Aaron while he was here earlier this month. It was a short 4 days but we tried to do a few fun things. We played some "horse" with Teigen's little tikes basketball hoop in our backyard, watched movies, and played xbox. We went out to new mexican food dinner at the bottom of the mountain so Aaron could taste green and red chile, then rode the Tram to the top of the mountain. It was so cold and there was a ton of snow at the top so we had some hot chocolate at the restaurant up there. Another day, we went to "Hinkle-Family-Fun-Center" which happened to be a blast. You can never grow out of being a kid (the pictures tell all). Thank you Aaron for coming to visit us! Teigen loved playing with you so much. Please come back anytime...but bring your wifey next time! ;)

Mother of 4 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays...

So if some of you don't know, I watch kids....I mean babies in my home 3 days a week. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays 3 babies come to my home and depend on me for everything. I'm their Day Care Mom. In the picture you will see (from left to right) Cyan-4 months old, Gavin-7 months old, Ashlyn-10 months old and mine-Teigen 2 years old. This is my little family part of the week. I enjoy it a lot and have fun watching them grow. It CAN be crazy some days. But I had to learn to get in a groove and they had to learn that they have to take turns with Miss Ashley.
I started doing this a while back so I could stay home with Teigen and watch/help him grow. For those Moms that absolutely have to work....I am sorry and understand how sad it must be to leave them everyday. I do MISS my old job....getting up early in the morning, actually DOING my hair and makeup, getting dressed up, talking to ADULTS, having doctors, nurses, and patients depend on me, and feeling I've accomplished so much when driving home from work. Yeah, I do miss it very much sometimes. But I NEVER missed any of Teigen's accomplishments, I've never missed his funny personality, his hugs and kisses that he constantly comes up to me and gives, his smile and laugh. I'd be without if I missed any of it. Every second is worth staying home with him because life is short..sometimes TOO short and you NEVER know when that could end. :)
Unfortunently though my time with the Day Care is fast approaching to an end due to me being due in Sept. My original plan was to start working again 6 weeks after I had the baby, but now that Justin's side job has boomed like crazy, I no longer HAVE to work. I am so thankful for all his hard work and his want for me to stay home with our kids. He's such a good Father. So, my daycare will end sometime before the baby comes. I am thankful for the babies that I've been watching...they are wonderful and I will miss them very much!!

My baby turned 2 today!

So, I think I've reached the point when I can officially call my baby a little boy. He grew out of his "babyness" a while ago but I wasn't ready to accept it. He's always been an eager learner, wanting to be a big boy as soon as he could. He's not a great talker, but he tries to say anything I ask him to. I think I'm the only one who can understand his "grunt/whisper-talk."

I feel so blessed that I've been able to stay home with Teigen since day 1. I have had so much fun with him and with this, he has turned into a bit of a momma's boy. I'm okay with that, but Dada on the other hand.....that's a different story. Soon enough he'll want to be with Dada only and I will be dropped like a sack of potatoes. But if Teigen ever gets hurt, he'll come running back to me. I think that's one of my favorite parts about being a mommy. Whenever he gets hurt or has an "owie" Teigen runs to me crying with his arm, foot, head, etc out wanting me to kiss it better. After I kiss his "owie," I tell him "all better" and the crying stops and he goes back to play. That little moment makes anything else I'm worrying about in my life melt away. I just hope he'll always come running to me when he's hurt so I can make his "owie's" in life all better.

I love my little boy so much and I hope he enjoys his day! We'll be going to chuck e' cheese's tonight to celebrate. Thanks to all those who sent gifts and cards for him. We're very grateful.
