So, I think I've reached the point when I can officially call my baby a little boy. He grew out of his "babyness" a while ago but I wasn't ready to accept it. He's always been an eager learner, wanting to be a big boy as soon as he could. He's not a great talker, but he tries to say anything I ask him to. I think I'm the only one who can understand his "grunt/whisper-talk."
I feel so blessed that I've been able to stay home with Teigen since day 1. I have had so much fun with him and with this, he has turned into a bit of a momma's boy. I'm okay with that, but Dada on the other hand.....that's a different story. Soon enough he'll want to be with Dada only and I will be dropped like a sack of potatoes. But if Teigen ever gets hurt, he'll come running back to me. I think that's one of my favorite parts about being a mommy. Whenever he gets hurt or has an "owie" Teigen runs to me crying with his arm, foot, head, etc out wanting me to kiss it better. After I kiss his "owie," I tell him "all better" and the crying stops and he goes back to play. That little moment makes anything else I'm worrying about in my life melt away. I just hope he'll always come running to me when he's hurt so I can make his "owie's" in life all better.
I love my little boy so much and I hope he enjoys his day! We'll be going to chuck e' cheese's tonight to celebrate. Thanks to all those who sent gifts and cards for him. We're very grateful.

It breaks my heart not to be close enough to celebrate his special days ... okay, everyday! He has changed into a little man. Give him lots of hugs and kisses from his Nana. ♥U! Mom
2 whole years and such a boy. He has a great Mom and Dad to help him along the way. Course he's got great grandparents who love him so much. Wish we were all there--both sides to celebrate his birthday. Love, Papa and Dad T.

Happy Birthday Teigen!!!!2years old is such an exciting time of life. Exploration, questions, questions, questions. Enjoy every minute as they stay little such a short time. He is so cute. You are wonderful parents and it is fun to watch the process. We love you all so much.

I can't believe how fast our babies are growing up. It makes me sad. And btw, I'm still refusing to call Ava a little girl, she is still my baby. For a few more weeks anyways.
